In November, the release of Nicol\u00f2 Govoni’s new book, “Altrove”<\/strong>, attracted the attention of some of the most important newspapers. Still I Rise\u2019s founder and CEO\u2019s School of the Future tour stopped in Rimini, Rome, Cremona, Milan, Aosta, Lugano, and Bologna, and was reported in both local and national press, as well as the Swiss press.<\/p>

The national media that have widely covered the new book include Raiuno<\/a>, with a long and detailed interview with Nicol\u00f2 Govoni in the TV studio of “A Sua Immagine,” La Stampa, La Repubblica, Il Messaggero<\/a>, Leggo<\/a>, as well as various broadcasts such as “Wannabe: il futuro che vorrei” on Rai Radio1<\/a>, “Fil Rouge” on Rai Radio Valle d’Aosta<\/a>, and Radio Lombardia<\/a>. In Switzerland, RSI<\/a> broadcast a radio interview with Nicol\u00f2 Govoni. The articles published and the interviews aired focused not only on the book, but also on the educational method of Still I Rise<\/strong>, presented by Nicol\u00f2 Govoni during the various stops of the tour.<\/p>

Regarding the organization’s advocacy activities, DIRE news agency<\/a> published an interview with Abdulkafi Alhamdo, Program Manager in Syria<\/strong>; through his words, he tried to keep up attention on the serious violations that continue to take place in the country. The interview was mentioned by several local newspapers such as Corriere di Palermo<\/a>, Gazzetta di Genova<\/a>, Corriere Flegreo<\/a>, and Il Giornale di Torino<\/a>.<\/p>

One of the leading events held in November was the Anima Award<\/strong> ceremony, a historic recognition of Unindustria. During this year’s edition, Nicol\u00f2 Govoni was honored “For his commitment to the education and protection of refugee children with the Still I Rise association”. TGR Campania<\/a> relaunched the talk by Giovanni Volpe, General Counsel of Still I Rise, at TEDx UniSalerno<\/strong> on November 8 at the University of Salerno. The talk focused on Giovanni Volpe’s experience in international cooperation, and how an alternative and innovative way of doing humanitarian work is not only possible, but necessary. Finally, space within Elle<\/a> magazine was given to the Elle Active initiative. The forum, dedicated to women and work, was held on November 4 and 5 and featured Still I Rise. <\/p>
